Dandenong Steel the company has been around the Dandenong area since the early 70’s originally started by the Rieder brothers. It has had many partners over the years, all with the same focus on customer friendly steel service to large and small businesses and the general public.

Matt and Karen have worked in the business since the early 2000’s and have helped it grow into what the business is today. Starting his Steel journey at Sims Metal in Noble Park, Matt was approached about an opportunity at Dandenong Steel and that is where his journey started. After many years of hard work with his business partner, he became sole owner in 2016 at this time Karen came in to work and it became a family run business.

Through the years the business has built a solid foundation of regular clientele and a reputable reputation within the tight knit industry. Gaining the knowledge and experience along this journey, Matt and Karen identified a need in the market for a more targeted approach towards the retaining wall, landscaping, and small building jobs sector so the decision was made to launch KayCee Industries P/L. Working as sister companies they are hoping to be able to provide the same but more extensive range of products for an ever-growing market. With the help of their team and their determination to be a market leading provider to an ever-expanding industry, Dandenong Steel will strive to deliver fast, friendly, and fair service to all.
